Locatium is a cloud-native SaaS platform to support Retailers, Telcos, Smart Cities, Logistics and Mobility operators in optimizing their businesses— strategically, tactically and operationally. Our platform solutions combine location data streams, disruptive big data technologies and AI/ML algorithms to allow our clients to make optimization decisions in an automated way. Finding locations for new retail locations, optimizing existing omnichannel retail network topology, rolling out 5G optimizing CAPEX and OPEX, improving multimodal public transport networks, and optimizing operations in Transport and Aerospace networks are just a few examples of Locatium use cases.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, Math, or other relevant fields. A Master's or PhD degree is preferred.
- 3+ years experience in Data Science. Experience with GeoSpatial data processing and analysis is preferred: ArcGis, QGis, Carto, etc.
- Strong command of Python and SQL. Familiarity with SkLearn, TensorFlow or similar machine learning libraries.
- Good knowledge of Machine Learning techniques and their application and trade off with real world datasets.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Fluent Spanish is a plus.
- Openness to learn new methodologies and technologies on the go.

Role
- Implement pipelines to extract, clean and transform data from massive geospatial datasets.
- Engineer ML models for a variety of use cases: retail site optimization and selection, advanced geo marketing, telco network optimization, etc.
- Improve internal toolsets and strive to automate all repetitive processes.
- Present models and data insights to our clients, usually non-technical business users, through visualization dashboards and reports.
Where
- Choice to work remote from anywhere in the world or from one of our locations: Dubai, Hong Kong or Granada (Spain)
- We also have opportunities to be deployed at client sites all around the world during short periods of time.
